Biography:
Born on October 12, 1955 in Tourcoing, France, Brigitte Lahaie (aka Brigitte Simonin, Fanny, Brigitte Bordeaux, Brigitte Lahaye, Brigitte Van Meerhaegue) started out in hardcore adult films in 1976 and worked in the industry for four years. She made the decision to leave at the height of her popularity, having developed a second career in softcore erotica and horror films during the late 1970s. Brigitte kept quite busy maintaining careers in both mainstream and adult film until leaving the porn business in 1980. Her last X-rated film was Les petites écolières. In 1981, you may have seen her in a small role in the French cinema classic Diva as "la fille sans culotte." While most of Brigitte's mainstream film roles were in French language productions, she had a bit part as a prostitute in the acclaimed English film Henry & June. Today, while still acting, Brigitte also hosts a French television show on human sexuality and a daily Radio Monte Carlo show called "Lahaie, l'Amour et Vous."
